I promise you there is never a dull moment during a family session. Never. Especially at one with 6 kids and a dog! These Cherry Creek family photos were SO much fun to take. Jennifer found me on Instagram and told me she had 6 kids, and I was already so excited for their photos before even meeting this lovely family. To make it easy on them, I met them close to their house in Cherry Creek at a gorgeous park that still even had some fall colors remaining. Their outfits were bright and coordinated, and they looked like a family straight out of a magazine. And to top it off, their Instagram-famous dog, Mile High Max, surely stole the show.

I’ve recently been really trying to go for a candid and natural feel in my photos, and think I nailed that here. Lots of smiles and natural laughs as we walked, frolicked and giggled our way through the park. It can be challenging to get the “perfect” photo with so many people, but honestly, I think the perfect photo is usually found in the imperfect.
